Zorin OS 16 Lite is the best looking OS. Lite is best because people are sick and tired of needing to buy new hardware to run windows 11 bloat loaded spyOS packed full of telemetry the end users cannot disable. Windows 11 is basically a National Security Risk… untrustworthy right out of the box.

I have been using MX Linux Xfce for over two years now but this caught my attention the other week. I have now changed my main computer and so far I am enjoying Zorin OS Xfce very much. I have kept a Live USB (with persistance) of my MX set up. But thank you for showing off this distro; I think it’s top-notch.

Could i use Zorin 16.1 pro Lite to install Docker and portainer. PoP OS uses to much hardware.
Ubuntu Desktop also. My old 2017 Intel Nuc i3 liked Ubuntu Server, but im not confident with Ubuntu server distro.
In the old days Unix runs great on old computers , nowadays you need a 2k new computer for just running Ubuntu.
Zorin lite vs linux lite which is better
Zorin offers nothing over other distros like Linux Lite. Just another Ubuntu rip off, moved all the settings around to call it a “new” distro.
I’ve not tested it but the difference between pro (£40) and core (£0) is what exactly except that they have more themes? and some preinstalled applications?
How much ram does the lite use on start up? Tired of Mac OS using 4/8gb on start up. And the huge process list running.

I’m stunned by this Zorin distro. I don’t use Linux because of Photoshop, Adobe XD and Illustrator but wow you can see that a good UI designer put time to design this.
Ubuntu and Zorin are beautiful but lots of Linux fanatics hate them because they are “selling themselves” whatever that means. I feel like 90% of Linux community doesn’t want Linux to look professional and aesthetically pleasing to attract windows users. They enjoy if average user finds Linux too hard for daily use which is really weird.
